For over 25 years the annual music trade fair in Frankfurt has been the most important industry meeting place when it comes to introducing new products. iKEY AUDIO, too, was present on all four show days to present the current line-up in early April – with success. Heavy visitor traffic at the trade show booth and excited customers prove: iKEY AUDIO’s innovative technologies are in line with the trend.

Four trade show days in Frankfurt, four days of heavy visitor traffic, conversations with manufacturers, retailers, musicians, journalists – the iKEY Audio team barely had time to breathe during the music trade show. Reason to be pleased for iKEY AUDIO’s Chief Executive Officer Artie Cabasso, who took the strong interest as clear indicator for that iKEY Audio is heading into the right direction with its new product line.

There was an abundance of iKEY AUDIO novelties to be discovered this year: Next to the spectacular Eardrumz in-ear headphones, IKEY introduced three new portable USB/SD digital recorders that drew great attention at the show booth. All three, the G-3, M-3 and HR-7, stand out by easy control and convenient monitoring, and record MP3-files at 128, 256 and 320 kbps, as well as WAV files. The recording is made directly to a connected USB storage medium or a SD card, and is transferred to the computer via USB. As a portable recorder with built-in XY microphones the HR-7 is also optimized for field work.

The RM-3, iKEY AUDIO’s newest achievement in the 19" rack recorder department, also received great feedback: Here, too, recordings made via line or microphone input are directly stored onto a connected USB medium or SD card. In addition to that the RM-3 features instant playback, phones/line output, volume control, RCA and professional XLR microphone inputs, and also records MP3 files up to 320 kbps, as well as WAV files. Thus a plentitude of features that turned the RM-3 into an absolute eye-catcher at the trade show – just as the new Eardrumz: new stylish in-ear headphones in two different versions and various colors that indulge eyes and ears alike.

Special attention was drawn by the studio monitors of the M2 Series that, apart from a more precious design, also sound a whole lot better than the predecessors of the M1 Series which were highly praised by press and specialists.
